Obituary of Erasmo Alejo

Edinburg, Texas Mr. Erasmo Alejo, 70, entered eternal rest Friday, March 12, 2021 at his home in Edinburg. Erasmo was born August 6, 1950 in Reynosa, Mexico to Francisco and Francisca (Gomez) Alejo. Mr. Alejo had lived in Edinburg for more than 35 years. He enjoyed talking to people, dancing, collecting all kind of items, and he enjoyed social media. Erasmo truly lived life to its fullest. Erasmo was preceded in death by his parents; His daughter-Diana Alejo, His son Carlos Amador Alejo; His brothers; Juan Alejo, Emilio Gomez and a sister; Esther Alejo. He is survived by his wife Maria Concepcion Contreras Alejo; His children- Erasmo Alejo Jr., Francisco Alejo, Gilberto Alejo, Maria Luisa Alejo, Carlos Ivan Alejo; His brothers and sisters- Francisco Alejo, Teresa Alejo de Perez, Alicia Alejo, Amador Alejo; 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; His extended family of pets- Snuggles Shea, Cocca, Mila, Diego, and Dolly. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Legacy Chapels,4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, Texas. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
