MARIA HORTENCIA MARROQUIN DE CABELLO MCALLEN - Maria Hortencia Marroquin de Cabello, 81, entered eternal sleep Thursday, March 11, 2021, in Edinburg. Mrs. Cabello was preceded in death by her husband, Jorge Cabello Tostado; her parents, Natividad Marroquin Rocha and Sofia Alanis Alanis; two siblings, Lucita Marroquin and Manuel Marroquin. Mrs. Cabello is survived by her children, Jorge Francisco Cabello (Marilu Santos De Cabello), Cesar Alejandro Cabello (Virginia Guadalupe Rodriguez De Cabello), Luis Carlos Cabello (Martha Gutierrez De Cabello), Jesus Hector Cabello (Adriana Rodriguez De Cabello), Mayela Guadalupe Cabello De Avila (Daniel Avila), and Marisol Cabello De Barsenas (Felipe Barsenas); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister, Olivia Marroquin Alaniz; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2021, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in McAllen. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Friday, March 12, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
