San Isidro- Lydia G. Hinojosa, born on November 5th 1927 to Lazaro and Josefa Guerra in Santa Teresa, Texas, went to be with Lord surrounded by her loving family, on February 4th 2015 at her residence in San Isidro. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Lino Hinojosa, III., sons: Jose Noe Hinojosa, Lino Hinojosa; a sister, Raquel Guerra Gonzalez and brothers: Leonel, Horacio, Isamel and Lazaro Guerra. She is survived by her children: Yolanda Hinojosa Saenz (Jesus), Homero Hinojosa, Norma H. Villarreal (Omar), Idalia H. Saenz (Jose A.) and a sister, Maria Julia Pena. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Lydia was a strong, loving and caring woman who was an inspiration to all. She dedicated her life caring for her family. Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 8th 2015 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a 7:00pm rosary at Legacy Funeral Home, 4610 S. Jackson Rd., in Edinburg. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Monday, February 9th 2015 at San Isidro Catholic Church in San Isidro, Texas. Interment will follow at Hinojosa Memorial Cemetery also in San Isidro. The family is in the care of Legacy Funeral Home in Edinburg.
