GUADALUPE GARZA MCALLEN - Guadalupe Garza, 86, entered eternal rest Monday, February 22, 2021, in McAllen. Mrs. Garza was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Agapito Garza Sr.; her son, Julian Agapito Jr.; her parents, Martiniano and Maria Ramirez; her brother, Martin Ramirez. Mrs. Garza is survived by her eight children, Dora Salinas (Javier Ortiz), Javier Garza, Maria Margarita Garza Ortiz (Uvaldo Ortiz), Ermila Garza, Belinda Garza, Melva Garza Benavidez (Gilbert Benavidez), Leticia Mariscal (Sixto Mariscal), Frank Garza (Cris Garza); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters, Delia Morales, Raquel Cantu, Marina Ramirez, and Lazara Ramirez; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Thursday, February 25, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, February 26, 2021, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
