MINERVA RAMIREZ
MISSION - Minerva Ramirez, 72, entered eternal sleep Wednesday February 17, 2021, in Mission surrounded by her family. Mrs. Ramirez was preceded in death by her husband, Eleazar Ramirez Sr.; her parents, Luis and Octavia Balderas; two brothers, Jose Luis Balderas, and Javier Balderas; two nephews, Jose Luis Balderas Jr., and Rudy Aguilar Jr.
Mrs. Ramirez is survived by her six children, Eleazar Ramirez Jr. (Alejandro Castillo), Jorge H. Ramirez (Esmeralda), Irma L. Peña (Esteban), Irasema Huaracma (Ruben), Roberto Ramirez (Angela), and Ricardo Ramirez (Myra); 13 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Enrique Balderas, and Jorge Balderas; seven sisters, Irma Gomez, Graciela Salinas, Evelia Desiga, Rosa Elia Aguilar, Maribel Alatorre, Maricela Lopez, and Roasrio Martinez; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at St. Jospeh the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Pallbearers will be Eleazar Ramirez Jr., Jorge H. Ramirez, Roberto Ramirez, Ricardo Ramirez, Esteban Peña, Alejandro Castillo, Steven Peña, and Adrian Peña.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
