Obituary of Concepcion V Marroquin

Edinburg – Concepcion Marroquin, 90 entered eternal rest on Friday, February 5, 2021, in Edinburg,Texas She was born on December 8,1930 in Mexico to Jose and Delfina Vásquez. She was a long time resident of Edinburg. She was a Godly woman who raised her children to love the Lord. She loved her family and looked forward to family gatherings. She had a love for animals and had 3 dogs of her known. She was Proceeded in death by Francisco Marroquin(husband), Edward J Rangel (grandson), Antonio J Salazar (grandson), Anselmo Basoria (son-in-law). Concepcion is survived by five daughters, Blanca L Rangel (Jesus) Olga Salazar (Antonio), Anabela January (Lucio), Leticia Faires (William L), Elvia Basoria, and three sons: Francisco Marroquin (Elvia), Cesar Marroquin (Gracie), Juan Ortega, 20 precious grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation will be at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, followed by Memorial Service. Interment will commence at 2 PM at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Anselmo Basoria, Alec Basoria, Cesar Marroquin, Lucio January, Levi January, and Lucas January.
