IRIS ALVARADO ALAMO - Iris Alvarado, 69, entered eternal rest on Monday January 25, 2021, in Mcallen. Mrs. Alvarado was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Julia Garza; siblings Isaias Eliud Garza Peña, and Manuel Garza Peña. Mrs. Alvarado is survived by her husband, Victorio Alvarado Castillo; three children, Martha Isela (Oscar Valdez) Alvarado, Iris Eunice (Raymundo Padilla) Alvarado, and Victor Eli (Loraine) Alvarado; three grandchildren, Alondra Mia Valdez, Elizabeth Aimee Valdez, and Victor Eli Alvarado Jr.; six siblings, Irma Esther Garza Peña, Isreal Garza Peña, Ilsa Barrios Garza, Juan Garza Peña, Hilda Garza Garza, and Isaac Garza Peña; numerous family and friends. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday, February 1, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
