SYLVIA YOLANDA GARZA
MCALLEN - Sylvia Yolanda Garza, 89, entered eternal rest Monday, January 11, 2021, in McAllen. Mrs. Garza was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Garza; her parents, Gregorio and Celia De La Garza; her sister, Ovidia Gonzalez, two brothers, Eugenio and Ernesto De La Garza.
Mrs. Garza is survived by her two daughters, Sylvia Yolanda (Isaias) Aguirre, and Gloria (Adrian) Ochoa; three grandchildren, Adrie Ochoa, Alyssa Ochoa, and Daniel Aguirre; two sisters, Delia Cole and Millie Garza; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Sunday, January 17, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, January 18, 2021, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
