ALBERTO VARELA JR.
EDINBURG - Alberto Varela Jr., 25, entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 3, 2021, in McAllen. Alberto was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Alfonso and Aurelia Varela.
Mr. Varela is survived by his parents, Alberto and Cristina Varela Sr.; three sisters, Valerie (Renee Acosta) Varela,l Denise (Nathaniel Perez) Varela, and Jackie Varela; maternal grandparents, Guadalupe and Guadalupe Hernandez; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2021, and 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday, January 11, 2021 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
