YOLANDA HINOJOSA MCALLEN - Pastor Yolanda Hinojosa,76, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday (New Hope’s Day for Prayer) December 1, 2020 at 8:20 am. Mrs. Hinojosa was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Omar O. Hinojosa; former spouse, Gerald J. Bojanski; and her parents, Francisco and Elena Rodriguez. Born on December 14, 1943, Pastor Yolanda, was the co-founder of New Hope Ministries Church on July 8, 2000. She was an amazing woman, mother, and grandmother with a big heart who consistently helped to meet the needs of others especially the less fortunate for children and missions were within her big heart. The day that Jesus showed love to her is what drove her to show love to others everywhere she went. As His servant, God used this transformed woman to impact the lives of countless people throughout this country and abroad. She was a woman of strength, a pastor, a woman of courage and great faith with a big humble heart. Most importantly, as Jesus was, she was a prayer warrior. Her legacy continues here as it is heaven, now in His Presence receiving her reward and beginning to walk her eternal journey and does every day what she loved most which was to worship at His feet. We say this in remembrance that she is only gone from this earth and entered her heavenly mansion. Her legacy also continues through the many people she taught by example, mentored, and led to Jesus here and abroad. She may not be here physically with us, but she definitely is alive and made whole in heaven. She means so much to all of us and she will be missed because we truly love her. She went home and her legacy was sharing the message of Jesus to give us all hope that we could see her again one day. Jesus is Love! Jesus is Hope! Jesus is The Way! Thank you for your presence and prayers and we bless you all in Jesus’ mighty name. Mrs. Hinojosa is survived by her children, Linda A. Guerra, Frank (Myrtha) Llanas, Christine (Alberto) Dovalina, John F. (Erika) Bojanski, Charleen D. Solis, Bonnie (Domingo) Parras, Linda (Michael) Franklin, Patty LaVigne, Omar (Marcena) Hinojosa; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and her loving brother Israel (Guadalupe) Rodriguez. Memorial Service will be held at 5 p.m. at New Hope Ministries Church 3001 N. Sugar Rd. Pharr, Texas 78577 on Sunday December 13, 2020. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday December 14, 2020 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson in Edinburg, Texas. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Gardens in Pharr, Texas.
