JOEL JAVIER AYALA
EDINBURG - Joel Javier Ayala, 82, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 in Edinburg. Mr. Ayala was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Jesse Ayala; his parents, Jose and San Juana Ayala; his five siblings, Noe Ayala, Celia Chavez, Luis Ayala, Abelardo Ayala, and Zenaida Ayala.
Mr. Ayala is survived by his wife, Eloisa Ayala; seven children, Joel (Adela) Ayala Jr., Elizabeth Rodriguez, Angelica (Scott) Unger, Hector (Maria) Ayala, Luz (Osmando) Gomez, Yesenia (Daniel) Ramirez, and Jesus Joel Ayala; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; his brother, Gilberto Ayala; his sister, Enriqueta Alarcon; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Thursday, October 1, 2020, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2020, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
