I remember when Ruben, Fernando and I went to boot camp at MCRD San Diego together. This was active the first time I had met Ruben. We went through some challenging times together but we stuck together. I will truly miss him. He was a great person and true friend. My prayers are with you and your family. Juan Garza.

Ruben really was a favorite cousin to many. He definitely was and will always be one of my favorites. I know that Ruben is now in a better place, he has received his crown of glory. He was a good man and a prayerful man. I know he will continue praying for us. Until we meet again Primo, you will be greatly missed by all of your family and friends. Lala, my prayers are with you and your boys. May God give you peace beyond human understanding and may He comfort you during this difficult time as we lay our beloved Ruben Garza Sr. to rest. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace and may God's perpetual light shine upon him. I love you all and my apologies for not being able to attend his services. You are all in my heart and in my prayers.
