Obituary of Humberto & Teresa Hernandez

HUMBERTO & TERESA HERNANDEZ Thessalonians 4:13-14 And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died. EDINBURG - Humberto (74) & Teresa (67) Hernandez entered eternal rest in the same month of July, 2020 in McAllen. Mr. & Mrs. Hernandez were preceded in death by their great-grandson, Myles Hernandez; and their parents. Humberto and Teresa enjoyed attending sporting events, watching their grandchildren do what they love, and cheer them on from the stands. They enjoyed spending time with their loved ones, wether it was at a gathering or at home watching television together. Both had a great profound love for God and enjoyed listening to the word of Jesus Christ. Their faith in the Lord made their love stronger as they attended Templo Emmanuel in Edinburg. Mr. & Mrs. Hernandez are survived by five children, Beatrice Hernandez, Daniel Hernandez, Hector (Nora) Hernandez, Rogelio (Griselda) Hernandez, and Veronica Hernandez; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; numerous siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. Celebration of Life service Thursday August 13, 2020, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
