SAN JUAN
SAN JUAN - Maria H. Martinez entered eternal rest on July 24, 2020 at Mcallen Nursing Center. She lived in San Juan most of her life and in Chicago from 1960-1972. She is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Rogelio Martinez Sr. And son, Rogelio Martinez Jr. Her mother; Antonia Alvarado. Maria is survived by daughters, Rosa Maria Martinez and Rachel Garza both of Round Rock, Tx. Her son Rodolfo (Jill) Martinez of Raytown, Missouri, Ruby (Luis) Ramos of San Juan, Tx., and one granddaughter that she raised as her own, Rosie Quinones of McAllen, Tx. Her 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren. Her four siblings; Porfiria (Roman) Sauceda of San Juan, Benita Martinez of McAllen, Roberto (Yolanda) Cervantes of Whiting, Indiana and Ofelia (Gerald) Daniels of Houston, Tx.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road, Edinburg, Texas.
