TOMASA ZUMAYA EDINBURG - Tomasa Zumaya, 64, entered eternal sleep Thursday July 16, 2020, in McAllen. Ms. Zumaya was preceded in death by her daughter, Nora A. Diaz; her father, Tomas Zumaya; a brother, Cleotilde Moreno. Ms. Zumaya is survived by her husband, Argelio Diaz; seven children, Teresa Diaza, Basilia Diaz, Nereyda Diaz, Yesenia Ruiz, Diego A. Diaz, Mayra Y. Diaz, and Juana Lizette Diaz; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; five siblings, Isabel, Catalina, Beltran, Jacinto, Igansio; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday June 20, 2020, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday June 21, 2020 at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
