MARIA "ANGELITA" RODRIGUEZ
EDINBURG - Maria "Angelita" Rodriguez, 80, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, July 7, 2020, in Edinburg surrounded by her family. Mrs. Rodriguez was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and San Juanita Astroga; her sister, Maura Astroga.
Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by her husband, Roberto Rodriguez; five children, Victor M. (Manuela) Lopez, Carmen (Eddie) Rodriguez, Rogelio (Maria) Rodriguez, Silvia (Jaime) Lopez, and Jesse Ochoa; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Juan Cardenas, Rosendo Astroga, Melecio Astroga, and Candelario Astroga; her sister, Ramona Robles; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be begin at 5 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral Mass will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
