NICHOLAS MARIE TERPSTRA EDINBURG - Nicholas Marie Terpstra, 84, entered eternal rest Monday, June 15, 2020 in Edinburg. Mr. Terpstra was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Catharina Terpstra. Nick was a hobby farmer and retired from General Motors Diesel in London, Ontario, Canada. Mr. Terpstra is survived by his wife, Alicia Terpstra; six children, Marianne Juniper, Thomas Terpstra, Cathy Verfaillie, Joanne Wira, Nicholas Terpstra Jr., and Monique Mackie; 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Case Terpstra, Leo Terpstra, Rudy Terpstra, Joseph Terpstra,Trucy Cornielis, Mary Verhaeghe, and Cathy Kustermans; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service Thursday, June 18, 2020, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2020, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
