ISMAEL "MILO" VASQUEZ VILLARREAL
EDINBURG - Ismael Vasquez Villarreal, 53, entered eternal sleep, Wednesday, May 13, 2020, in McAllen. Mr. Villarreal was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ismael and Silvestra Villarreal; maternal grandparents, Marcos and Paulina L. Vasquez.
There's an ever growing number of words and with them, an infinite number of different combinations. Despite this, there is no combination of pretty words or well-meaning sentences that could describe the void that Ismael left in everyone's hearts upon his death. There is no way to describe the pain of having him taken away. There is no way to describe exactly how wonderful of a man he was.
"Milo" as he was better known as by his friends and family was all heart, and those fortunate enough to be within his proximity knew just how strong that heart was; how deeply and unconditionally his love ran. There was nothing he loved more than his trucks, his family, and his friends. (and of course, his mother's home cooking.) It was a dedication that knew no bounds, the kind that gets seen once in a lifetime if you're lucky.
There is never a definite answer to why the Lord does what he does, and maybe that's for the best. Just knowing that the Lord has Milo wrapped in his heavenly grace-- free from pain and surrounded by what he loved the most-- is enough to give patience. Because we know that when it comes time for us to meet our Father and we get lost along the way, it'll be Ismael on the CB radio to guide us home. After calling us pendejos for getting lost in the first place.
