Obituary of Jaime Ocanas Villagomez

Jaime Ocanas Villagomez passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 9, 2020 surrounded by his wife and children. He was 64 years old. Jaime was born March 24, 1956 in Mexico to Pedro and Maria (Villagomez) Ocañas. Jaime enjoyed family gatherings. His hobbies were gardening, and fishing with his grandchildren. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Sylvia Ocanas; his children Gabriela McCann (Curtis), Jaime Ivan Ocanas (Ivett) and Christian Ocanas; his loving grandchildren Jared, Briar, Jaziel, Ethan, Giada and Ian; his mother Maria Villagomez, numerous loving siblings, in-laws, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased in death by his father Pedro Ocanas and sister Cristina Ocanas. Jaime was a grand husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. His smile was pure sunshine. He made an impact in the lives of people who knew him. He will be dearly missed by all. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, May 12,2020 at Legacy Chapels,4610 South Jackson Rd in Edinburg from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Cremation will follow at a later date. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels of Edinburg.
