WILLIAM GERALD MCCARVER ALAMO - William Gerald McCarver, 79, entered eternal sleep, Friday March 6, 2020, in McAllen. Mr. McCarver was preceded in death by his two daughters, Rachel Diane McCarver, and Mary Elisabeth French; his parents, Frank and Frances McCarver; his sister, Dorothy Ann McCarver. Mr. McCarver is survived by is wife, Luisa Arvizu McCarver; five children, Priscilla Ruth (Artemio) Rodriguez, Deborah Ann McGlauchlen, Susie Marie (Juan) Garza, Joanna Lynn (Cele) McCarver, and Michael William (Dana) McCarver; son-in-law, Brian French; 18 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren; his sister, Mary Lou Johnson; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2020, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
