Edinburg- Susan" Susie" Ybarra, born on January 18, 1927 in Brownsville, Texas to Miguel and Juana Garcia died peacefully on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the Amara Hospice Inpatient Facility in Edinburg. She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband Pablo Ybarra, daughter Sylvia Donovan, son Paul Ybarra, Jr., and numerous siblings.
Susie is survived by three daughters: Patricia Ybarra, Mary Sifuentes (Arturo), Flora Ybarra-Worthington (Darren) and a grandson, Aaron Hunter Worthington.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 4, 2014 from 12:00pm to 6:00pm with a 4:00pm prayer service at Legacy Funeral Home, 4610 S. Jackson Rd., in Edinburg. Funeral Mass will held at 10:00am on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
The Family is in the care of Legacy Funeral Home of Edinburg.
