ABIGAIL GOMEZ
EDINBURG - Abigail Gomez, 50, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, February 19, 2020, in Edinburg. Mrs. Gomez was preceded in death by her parents, Eberardo and Sylvia Gomez; her brother-in-law, Ricardo Garza.
Mrs. Gomez is survived by her husband, Ruben Gomez Jr.; four children, Kassandra (J.R. Aguirre) Gomez, Andrea (Emilio Davila) Gomez, Ruben Jonathan Gomez, and Ruben Joseph Gomez; ten grandchildren, Emilee, Ezekiel, Ezra, Elden, Mason, Nathan, Ethan, Victoria, Lorenzo, and Mallory; eight siblings, Everardo (Lupita) Gomez, Jr., Yvonne (Amado Jr.) Bazan, Sylvia (Jimmy) De Luna, Frank (Gloria) Gomez, Veronica Garza, Mike (Barbara) Gomez, Myrthala (Arnoldo) Gonzalez, and Claudia (Roger) Mora; her parents-in-law, Ruben and Goya Gomez; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Monday, February 24, 2020, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
