It doesn’t seem real, although it is. My Aunt (Tia) Tala as family would refer to her, was a strong woman with keen leadership skills. A woman I respected and appreciated, for her love for me and my brother. You see, when we were younger, she housed us. I particularly didn’t like going to school in Falbrook CA. So I would fake injury after injury to get out of going to that horrid school with large ass 18x20 papers to write on. I have to say my favorite place was Yuma Arizona.
This one time when I was 6 years old, I was in the back seat and my Tia Mirthala was driving and I decided to stick my head out from the back window and wave bye and she proceeded to raise up the electrical window and I let out a choking sound haha, and she realized I was being choked and stopped the car and lowered the window as she yelled at me “why would you stick your head out like that”? Haha. Man, that’s a cool memory.
