JUAN CANTU EDINBURG - Juan Cantu, 94, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, January 22, 2020, in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Born in Mexico he had lived in Edinburg and was formerly of Aransas Pass, Texas. Mr. Cantu is preceded in death by his wife, Ofelia Cantu; his parents, Medardo and Francisca Cantu; his ten siblings. Mr. Cantu is survived by his seven children, Epifanio Cantu, Olga Cantu, Letty (Goni) Gonzalez, Norma (Abiel) Serna, Juan Cantu, Mario (Zulema) Cantu, and Jorge (Aida) Cantu; 26 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Monday, January 27, 2020, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
