Alton- Virginia G. Guerra passed away on May 28, 2014 at Mission Regional Medical Center. She was born on January 11, 1935 in Ramones, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Delfino and Teodora Gomez. She is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Guerra, sons: Luis Carlos and Gregorio. She is survived by her children, Teresa (Margarito) Flores, Blanca E. Guerra (Jose Magallan), Juan Manuel Guerra (Maria Eulalia) Maria Elena Guerrero (Teodoro), Maia Del Rosario Hernandez (Arturo). She is also survived by her siblings, Eugenio Gomez, Mercedes Fuentes, and Elodia Gomez. Family will receive friends on Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a rosary at 7:00pm at Legacy Chapels, 4610 S. Jackson Rd., in Edinburg, and can be viewed online at www.legacychapelsrgv.com. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am on Monday, June 2, 2014 at San Martin de Porres Parish in Alton. Interment will follow at L and I Cemetery in Palmview. The family is in the care of Legacy Chapels of Edinburg.
