FELIPE HERNANDEZ SR.
MISSION - Felipe Hernandez Sr., 73, went to be with our Lord, Saturday, January 11, 2020, in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Mr. Hernandez is preceded in death by his parents, Genaro and Eloisa Hernandez; five siblings, Catarino Hernandez, Rosenda Gonzalez, Romualdo Hernandez, Carlota Salinas, and Jose Fidel Hernandez.
Mr. Hernandez is survived by his wife, Gloria Hernandez; five children, Linda (Jesus) Gonzalez, Eloisa (George) Cabrera, Felipe (Erica) Hernandez, Lorena (Oscar) Rodriguez, and Marcos Antonio (Fabiola) Hernandez; twelve grandchildren, Jesse, Armando, Adrian, Allison, Ryan, Renée, Isabelle, Israel, Aaron, Diego, Kate, and Joslyn; three siblings, Margarita De La Garza, Nabora Vasquez, and Camerino Hernandez; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
