George Francisco Torres, born on February 22nd 1980 in McAllen, Texas to George I. Torres and Maria M. Garza, passed away on May 9th 2014 in Omaha, Nebraska. He is preceded in death by a sister, Lory Ann Torres. He is survived by his father George I. Torres of Hidalgo, his mother Maria M. Torres of Minnesota, siblings; Erica Torres, Eddie Casanova, Sally Casanova and Michael Casanova. George is also survived by his children, Alysia, Kaysen, Mason X., and Amaya Torres; and a Grandmother Ignacia Garza. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 14th 2014 between the hours of five o'clock and nine o'clock in the evening with a prayer service at seven o'clock at Legacy Chapels, 4610 S. Jackson Rd., in Edinburg. A live webcast of the service can be viewed online at www.legacychapelsrgv.com. A Chapel Service will be at ten o'clock in the morning on Thursday, May 15th 2014 at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hidalgo City Cemetery in Hidalgo. The Family is in the care of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
