Obituary of Irene Rodriguez

IRENE RODRIGUEZ

MCALLEN - Irene Rodriguez, 69, went to be with our Lord, Friday September 20, 2019 in McAllen surrounded by her family. Mrs. Rodriguez was preceded in death by her parents,  Carlos and Petra Ramirez; her sister, Rosie Barrea.

Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by her husband, Eulogio Rodriguez; her two children, Amy Lizette (Israel) Rojas, and Eric Abel (Adriana Davila) Rodriguez; a grandson, Jerden Rojas; four siblings; Leonardo (Elena) Ramirez, Carlos (Amelia) Ramirez, Jr., Norma (Johnny) Elizondo, and Jaime Joel (Velma) Ramirez; a brother-in-law, Telesforo Barrera; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, September 26, 2019 at St. Paul Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
