Obituary of Guillermina Vargas

GUILLERMINA VARGAS

EDINBURG - Guillermina Vargas, 67, went to be with our Lord, Sunday June 30, 2019 in McAllen. Born in Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico she had lived in Edinburg most of her life. Ms. Vargas was preceded in death by her son, Antonio Vargas; her parents, Aureliano and Francisca Vargas; four siblings, Ramon, Ignacia, Eleazar, and Amadeo Vargas.

Ms. Vargas is survived by her husband Reynaldo Vega; five children, Apolonia (Pablo) Becerra, Jose C. (Jacqueline) Garcia, Francisco (Roxanne) Garcia, Margarita S. (Carlos) Luna, and Rebecca Garcia; 18 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; six siblings, Castulo Vargas, Jesus Vargas, Guillermo Vargas, Aureliano Vargas, Lucinda Banda, and Gregoria Vargas Garza; numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday July 4, 2019, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday July 5, 2019 at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Ashland Memorial Park Cemetery in Harlingen.
