RAMIRO T. GARCIA

ALAMO - Ramiro T. Garcia, 79, went to be with our Lord, Friday May 24, 2019 in Edinburg surrounded by his family. Born in El Porvenir Los Ramones, N.L., Mexico he had lived in Alamo for the past 30 years. Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his parents, Florentino and Amada Garcia; 8 siblings, Abelardo, Roberto, Jose Maria, Amador, Adalia, Maria Guadalupe, Ema Gloria, and Amada Garcia.

Mr. Garcia is survived by his wife, Rosa P. Garcia; four children, Ramiro P. (Araceli) Garcia, Leonides (Martha) Garcia, Rosa Alicia (Juan) Elizondo, and Rolando (Sonia) Garcia; 13 grandchildren; a sister, Julia Garcia; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Monday May 27, 2019 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
