MARIA C. MALDONADO

MCALLEN - Maria C. Maldonado, 79, went to be with our Lord Thursday, May 9, 2019, in McAllen surrounded by her family. Born in Rodriguez, Coach., Mexico and formerly of San Juan, Maria had lived in McAllen for the past ten years. Ms. Maldonado was preceded in death by her parents, Onesimo and Luciana Maldonado; her two siblings, Diana Maldonado and Manuel Maldonado.

Maria is survived by her nine children, Elias (Angela) Segovia, Ruth (Juan) Perez, Moises (Esperanza) Segovia, Raquel (Samuel) Flores, Felipe Maldonado, Rosa (Vicente Romero) Maldonado, Orfa Luz (Ruben Romero) Maldonado, Samuel (Elvira) Segovia and Jose Humberto (Karina) Maldonado; 25 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Armando and Homero Maldonado; two sisters, Rosa Sanchez and Lila Maldonado; numerous nieces, nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2019, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
