My condolences to your family. Miguel was a bright and wonderful soul to be around growing up. Much of my memories of Miguel were on the school playground playing tag, bursting into fits of laughter in class and working on assignments together. I feel blessed knowing I had the privilege of meeting and knowing Miguel. Thank you for raising such a wonderful young man. Till we meet at heaven's gate, my friend.

A goodbye letter to a great coworker and friend, My heart broke in a million pieces when I found out you weren't with us anymore.
It was a year ago when we met. You came to Houston to help me out when I was by myself. It was then that I learned you were a good hearted guy that was quick to help out when needed. You didn't know me from Adam, but you were there to lend a hand. From that day, we both became nurse friends. Laughing I learned a lot from you and always called you with questions and you never not once refused my calls.
I did not know that your last text to me would be "Good night friend." I'm really grateful that our last real conversation was the best, me talking to you about God and how good he is and to pray for good things in your life. I pray you have found peace now, Miguel Pineda, you will be truly missed. Keep an eye on us, sweet friend.
Thanks to God that I had the pleasure of getting to know such a wonderful person and an awesome caring nurse❤ see ya on the other side, brother. Melissa.
To Miguel's family and friends, I am praying for strength and comfort through difficult days and times. God Bless you all❤

To the Pineda family: I am so deeply saddened to hear of Miguel's death. I was his nursing instructor at South Plains College. Miguel was an excellent student, and was very well liked by his fellow students, and by the nurses and physicians at each facility. Miguel was very kind to others, especially to older patients who really appreciated his attention. I regret I won't be able to attend any of the services, but I will be praying the rosary for him and for you, his family.
