JUAN SANCHEZ

SAN JUAN - Juan Sanchez, 56, went to be with our Lord, Friday, March 1, 2019, in San Juan surrounded by his family. Born in Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico he had lived in San Juan most of his life. Mr. Sanchez is preceded in death by his mother, Carmen Chacon.

Mr. Sanchez is survived by his wife, Eva Alvarez; five children, Mary (Juan) Carranco, America Ortiz, Yuliana Sanchez, Sergio (Ely) Sanchez, and Leslie Sanchez; 12 grandchildren; four siblings, Jose (Nereyda Briones) Sanchez, Javier Sanchez, Rosa C. Rodriguez, and Obdulia Urzua; numerous aunts, uncles,  nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Monday, March 4, 2019, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg. Chapel service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at Legacy Chapels in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
