I am so sorry for your loss. It has been such a privilege to know both of you. I can not thank you enough for all both of you did for me when I was struggling with emotional & spiritual issues. I praise and thank the Lord for your dedication, compassion and understanding! May the Lord give you strength during this time of mourning.
Uncle Abel was my mom's (Delia Ortega Diaz) brother. The thing that really stands out in my mind about my Uncle Abel was his boldness when it came to the Gospel of Jesus. He played a very important role in my conversion to Christianity. He was talking with my wife on one occasion and she asked him about evolution. He told her that there was absolutely no evidence of evolution. They didn't know that I was listening to their conversation.
At that time I was an atheist and didn't believe the Bible. When I heard
what he said about evolution, I began my own investigation. He was right. That began my journey to salvation. From then on Uncle Abel and I grew very close, often discussing many subjects and ways to reach people for Jesus. Thank you Uncle Abel for your faithfulness. I'll see you in Heaven.
