Obituary of Roman Sanchez

Mr. Roman Sanchez, 80, entered into eternal rest on Saturday February 9, 2019 surrounded by his loving family at his residence in McAllen. Roman was born on February 28, 1938 in Reynosa, Mexico to Mauro and Leonor (De Leon) Sanchez. He was a resident of McAllen for many years. Her loved to sing and play the Guitar

Roman was preceded in death by his parents; and other siblings. Roman is survived by his wife- Maria Sanchez; His children-Jesus Sanchez, Gerardo Sanchez, Juan Jose Sanchez, Rosa Sanchez, Sara Sanchez, Daniel Sanchez, David Sanchez, Osmara Sanchez; Siblings- Alicia Sanchez, Petra Sanchez, Lucio Sanchez; 30 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Legacy Chapels, 4610 S. Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 PM to be officiated by Pastor Francisco Salazar. Celebration of life services will be on Wednesay, February 13, 2019 at 10:00 AM to be officiated by Pastor Jose Martinez at Legacy Chapels. Interment will follow to Palm Valley Cemetery in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
