Obituary of Jose Luis Arguelles

Edinburg, Texas Jose Luis Arguelles,34, entered eternal rest Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Joey, as he was lovingly known, was born November 23, 1987 in Brownsville, Texas to Santos and Margarita Arguelles. He lived in Edinburg for most of his life. Joey liked art, painting, movies, comic books and anime. He was an amazing husband, uncle, and friend. Joey liked to help people, he had a contagious smile and a big heart. He was always joking around. He loved to try new foods. He enjoyed fishing once in awhile. Joey was just an amazing person. He loved the sunflower and his color was green. Joey truly lived life to its fullest. Joey is survived by his wife Brenda Garcia; His parents- Santos and Margarita Arguelles; His brothers- Abel and Santos Arguelles; Also extended family and friends. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Legacy Chapels,4610 South Jackson Rd. in Edinburg from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a celebration of life service at 6:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels of Edinburg.
