Obituary of Roberto Rojas

Edinburg, Texas

Mr. Roberto Rojas,41, entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 23, 2019 in Weslaco, Texas. Roberto was born on March 11, 1978 in Mexico City,Mexico to Armando and Beatriz Viveros Rojas. Roberto was full of life. He was loved by his family and friends. Roberto proudly served in the US Navy from 1996-2006. He enjoyed fishing,hunting,golf, softball and snowboarding. Roberto was a big LA Dodgers fan. Roberto will be dearly missed by his family and those that came to know him. 

Left to cherish his memory are his parents- Beatriz and Armando Rojas; His sister- Marycarmen Molpus; brother in law Matthew Molpus; Nephews Elias Armando and Caleb Matthew Molpus; nieces-Roxanna and Kassandra Rodriguez; A brother and sister "From another mother" and best friends Isabel and John Rodriguez.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Legacy Chapels,4610 South Jacksn Rd. in Edinburg from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the recital of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial rites will be celebrated on Friday,August 30, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Edinburg. Mlitary honors under the auspices of VFW post 7473 will be given after the mass outside of the church. Cremation will take place at a later time. 

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
