IRENE LUNA
PHARR - Irene Luna, 88, entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at her residence in Pharr surrounded by her family. Mrs. Luna was preceded in death by her husband, Inocencio Luna; her daughter, Yolanda L. Chapa; a granddaughter, Priscilla Chapa; her parents, Nicolas and Anastacia Cabrera; three siblings, Emilia, Aurora, Esperanza Cabrera.
Mrs. Luna is survived by her two children, Benilde Garza, and Eduardo Luna; eight grandchildren, Eric J. Garza, Maria R. Garza, Steven Chapa, Ashley Luna, Kassandra Luna, Natasha Luna, Matthew Luna, and Ava Luna; ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; four siblings; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service, Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.
